Chelsea have made an approach for Inter Milan manager Roberto Mancini, according to reports in Italy.
Football Italia claim Roman Abramovich has approached the former Manchester City boss with a deal worth £6.3million a season.
The 51-year-old led City to their first title in the modern era after they beat QPR in dramatic fashion on the final day of the season in 2012.
 
Jose Mourinho is expected to take a considerable pay cut to take charge at Manchester United, according to reports.
The Portuguese is one of three candidates to replace Louis van Gaal at Old Trafford and would be offered £6m a season to do so.
And the Daily Star claim Mourinho is willing to accept those terms after it was revealed he will not be taking a sabbatical.
Diego Costa is set to be part of a stunning swap deal for Atletico Madrid's Jackson Martinez, according to reports.
Spanish outlet Fichajes claim the Blues have had enough of the striker and are prepared to send him back to Atletico in return for the Colombia international.
Martinez arrived at Vicente Calderon from Porto for £25million in the summer but has managed just two goals in 11 La Liga appearances so far.
