BATMAN V SUPERMAN: Dawn of Justice launches a brutal new trailer as Henry Cavill's Man of Steel fights Ben Affleck's Caped Crusader PLUS Gal Gadot's Wonder Woman and the first sighting of DOOMSDAY
US fans were the first to see the explosive new trailer for Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice last night.
The clip aired during Jimmy Kimmel's late night cult chat show and throws down a superpowered gauntlet to all the other blockbusters lining up to duke it out next year.

And Batman looks like he's in BIG trouble.
Either that, or he's making a cameo in the next Fifty Shades of Grey film...

The new Dawn of Justice trailer shows a terrifying new dark side to Henry Cavill's troubled saviour of humanity.
One that seems to include trussing up Batman like a chicken in an underground torture chamber.

Tuesday's teaser trailer already gave us a glimpse of the disturbing opening scene.
Superman blasts down from above and lands in dramatic dust storm and menacing guards in black uniforms fall to their knees at his arrival.
This is not the humble and unassuming superhero we are used to.
He strides towards Batman's prison and does NOT look like he is coming to the rescue. In fact, he looks like he wants to tear the Caped Crusader apart.

Superman looks absolutely furious as Batman struggles with his chains, his arms straining impotently over his head.
If the film is called Batman V Superman, it looks pretty obvious who has won.
Superman scowls at his adversary with absolute contempt and then - shockingly- rips off his mask.
Is this the end of Batman?
