BASTIAN SCHWEINSTEIGER has issued a call to arms to his Manchester United team-mates ahead of today's clash with Chelsea.
The Red Devils host Guus Hiddink's Chelsea this afternoon (5.30pm) in a match that could determine Louis van Gaal's future.
United have now lost four on the bounce following the 2-0 humbling at Stoke on Boxing Day.
However, in a show of defiance, the Manchester United players have rallied to Van Gaal's side.
And former Bayern Munich star Schweinsteiger has tweeted, urging the squad to 'stick together'.
"Let's stick together and give everything tonight! #mufc," he wrote.
And Michael Carrick has also come out in support of the manager, putting the onus on the players to perform better.
"We're playing for this great club, it is a special club. It is pride in yourself, pride in the club and pride in everyone - your team-mates and staff," he said.
"The run we've been on is just not good enough. We can't hide from it, we're not going to hide from it. That is how it is and we all need to be better.
"We've just got to try and turn it round on Monday, it is the only way."
