Alexis Sanchez looks set to return in time for the busy Christmas period

ALEXIS SANCHEZ is likely to return in time for the busy Christmas fixture schedule for Arsenal but Santi Cazorla is out until the new year after suffering a knee injury at Norwich last Sunday.

 

Cazorla's ailment is more long-term than Sanchez's hamstring problem and manager Arsene Wenger said: "We prepared ourselves to go through periods like this and I'm convinced the players are ready."
