ARSENAL are plotting a January move for Jesus Navas from rivals Manchester City, according to reports.
The Gunners are currently experiencing an injury crisis with a host of key players sidelined.
And with Alexis Sanchez adding to that list after suffering a hamstring injury during the 1-1 draw with Norwich, Wenger is in desperate need of reinforcements.
In light of this, Arsene Wenger is believed to be looking to Navas as a replacement for Sanchez, who has been ruled out for up to a month, according to Tuttomercatoweb.
Navas is a huge fan of Wenger and is believed to be keen on securing a move away from the Etihad after falling down Manuel Pellegrini's pecking order.
The 30-year-old is a huge fan of Wenger and wants to play regularly in order to cement his place in Spain's Euro 2016 squad.
Navas has made 20 appearances for the Sky Blues this season and has failed to open his account.
