WOJCIECH SZCZESNY was dropped by Roma for allegedly being caught smoking, according to reports in Italy.
Gazzetta dello Sport claim the Poland international was spotted having a cigarette after the 6-1 defeat to Barcelona in the Champions League.
The goalkeeper was left in awe after the game, calling Barca 'from another planet', hailing their performance as 'beautiful'.
However, Rudi Garcia dropped the Arsenal loanee in favour of Morgan De Sanctis for the game against Atalanta last weekend.
And it's understood his absence from the starting XI was linked to his reported smoking offence, a game Roma went on to subsequently lose 2-0.
It would not be the first time the keeper has been caught having cigarette, after the 25-year-old lit up in the changing room at Arsenal.
The Gunners fined him £20,000 for the offence that happened after the 2-0 loss to Southampton last year.
And he went on to lose his place to David Ospina, and following Petr Cech's arrival over the summer, was loaned out to Roma for the season.
Szczesny has made 10 Serie A appearances for the club this term, keeping two clean sheets in the process.
