Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger confirms plans for key double deal

ARSENAL will offer Mesut Ozil and Alexis Sanchez fresh contracts - but not until next summer.

Manager Arsene Wenger confirmed the club will seek to tie down Arsenal's two stars to extended deals.

"We’ll deal with that later in the season," the boss said.

"We focus on the present, we deal with that at the end of May."

 

Ozil is the top earner at Arsenal, picking up £140,000 a week on a deal that still has two-and-a-half years to run.

Chile international Sanchez is on a £130,000-a-week contract, which also ends in 2018.

The duo will reportedly be offered pay rises when negotiations begin at the end of the season.
