WATFORD'S Craig Cathcart is confident of picking up a 'positive result' when he faces former club Manchester United at home tomorrow (12:45pm).
The Northern Ireland international has been key for Quique Flores' men this term, helping to keep five clean sheets in 12 Premier League outings.
And the 26-year-old centre-half believes the Hornets' impressive defensive record can lead his side to victory against United.
Cathcart, who spent five years at Old Trafford from 2005 to 2010, said ahead of tomorrow's clash: "Our defensive record doesn't surprise me.
"As soon as the manager came in, he worked on it in the first week, which is unusual for pre-season as you normally get the rhythm back into your legs first.
"We worked on the defensive shape in the whole pre-season, aiming to be hard to beat, and I think it's showed in the first 12 games in the Premier League.
"We've been competitive in every game. We'll have a game plan from the manager and if we do our jobs, we'll be confident about getting a positive result."
