Watch Video ‘Jessica Jones’ Jazzy Noir Opening Credits Right Now
Marvel / Netflix
We could talk your ear off all day on the differences between Marvel’s Jessica Jones and Daredevil, right up until tomorrow’s Netflix premiere, but how about a visual demonstration. Gone are the blood red drippings of Matt Murdock’s Hell’s Kitchen, as the full Jessica Jones opening credits paint a much more colorful, jazzy noir take on the town.
Ahead of tomorrow’s premiere, Jessica Jones revealed its full opening credits sequence, a far cry from the ominous reds of Daredevil. Instead, Jessica’s jazz-infused opener follows the colorful lead of comic artist David Mack, taking us around seedier, noir-esque corners of Hell’s Kitchen, as if through Jessica’s eyes themselves.

So reads Marvel’s official Jessica Jones synopsis:
After a tragic ending to her short-lived super hero stint, Jessica Jones is rebuilding her personal life and career as a detective who gets pulled into cases involving people with extraordinary abilities in New York City.
We’ll have a more in-depth look at Marvel’s Jessica Jones after the premiere, but take in the latest photos and teasers below, and stay tuned for more from the big debut!
