INDULGING in sweet treats and hearty meals before they strut their stuff, the 'diets' of some VS angels will shock you.
A bevy of Victoria's Secret beauties bared all as they stalked down the catwalk in New York City last night.
There's no denying those taught and toned bodies don't come easily - but what is really included in a VS model's 'diet'?
Runway regular Adriana Lima came under fire in 2011 for confessing she cuts out solid foods in the 9-day lead up to her catwalk strut.
But angel Shanina Shaik made a point of saying the models make sure they sit down for a meal before they take to the runway.
Speaking to the Kyle and Jackie O show on KIISFM, the Australian supermodel said: "There's breakfast, we have lunch (and) we have a dinner before the show starts.
"We need to keep our energy up so it's important that we do eat."
In the lead up to the limb-baring event, the 24-year-old had been sticking to a mostly-vegan diet but not without the occasional treat.
Shanina said: "I like to eat a lot of protein and vegetables (and) drink lots of water.
"I love my food, I love chocolate, I like ice cream, so i'll eat it every now and then."
The much-talked about Kendall Jenner, who made her VS debut, has also spoken out about her reasonable runway prep.
When asked about her preshow dinner, the model said she didn't shy away from fats.
Kendall said: "Chicken and sweet potato, egg whites, and avocado."
Fellow newcomer Gigi Hadid was also seen snacking on wholegrain sandwiches and veggie root chips backstage.
The show will be aired on December 8.
