Tyson Fury's glove row settled ahead of world title fight with Wladimir Klitschko
Tyson Fury will get the boxing gloves he wants in time for world title fight with Wladimir Klitschko
TYSON FURY will have the gloves he wants for his clash with Wladimir Klitschko on Saturday night.

The glove row that threatened the WBO, IBF and WBA heavyweight bout taking place has been settled.
Fury, 27, has been promised the Paffen gloves he wanted will be delivered on time for Friday’s rules meeting after the weigh-in.
The British challenger was concerned they would not arrive, but Klitschko’s manager Bernd Boente has got assurances for the boss of Paffen Sport that they will be here on time.

He said: “I spoke to the CEO of Paffen this morning and the gloves will be there on Friday - definitely. They have already been shipped.”
Fury’s promoter Mick Hennessy also confirmed their team are happy they will arrive after a meeting with K2’s Tom Loeffler, who is Klitschko’s promoter.
Hennessy said: “At last night's rule meeting, Tom Loeffler of K2 Management told us the version that we wanted and had already approved would be here on Friday and Tyson would wear them for the fight.”
Fury was initially given a prototype pair to test out but was not happy because he felt he would damage his thumb because of the size of that part of the glove.

He was then sent a second pair that he was pleased with but there were serious concerns they would not be ready in time.
Boente added: “The Paffen CEO told me it was eight weeks before Team Fury came back to him with their problem.
“If they had even done it after two weeks, it would have been much easier.

“But this is what happens when you are dealing with amateurs.”
