Former England boss Sven-Goran Eriksson has called for Wayne Rooney to head to China.
The Manchester United star is reportedly wanted to boost the profile of Chinese football.
And Eriksson, who manages Shanghai SIPG, told The Sun: "Football is becoming huge here and they have very big ambitions for the Chinese Super League.
"Everybody in China knows the superstar players like him. Rooney would take this league to another level, I have no doubt about that."
