TOTTENHAM winger Erik Lamela has refused to rule out a future return to Italy despite insisting he is fully focused on life at White Hart Lane.
The Argentine has been heavily linked with a move to Roma, where he left to join Spurs in 2013 for £30million, as well as Serie A champions Juventus.
Lamela struggled to find his feet during his first season, but the arrival of compatriot Mauricio Pochettino as boss last year has reinvigorated the 22-year-old.
The former River Plate winger has impressed over the past two campaigns with nine goals and 13 assists in all competitions.
Lamela has today opened the door to a return to Italy in the future, but admits he is not ready to leave Tottenham
"I've always thought of Tottenham,” he told Fox Sport in response to Juventus' interest. “Here they make me feel important.
“For the moment a move is difficult, but maybe in the future why not? Also to Roma.”
