Steve Clarke will not take over at Fulham after Reading boss holds talks over vacant post
Steve Clarke is set to remain as Reading boss
STEVE CLARKE will not be appointed Fulham's new manager, according to reports.

Clarke, 52, held talks with Cottagers officials over the vacant managerial post last night.
He was expected to agree terms and be appointed boss ahead of Fulham's weekend clash with MK Dons.

But Sky Sports claim the appointment will now not go through.
Clarke, a former assistant to Jose Mourinho during the latter's first stint in charge at Chelsea, joined Reading 11 months ago.
Fulham have already ruled out appointing former Leicester manager Nigel Pearson as their new boss.
Kit Symons was sacked by the club earlier this month and Walsall manager Dean Smith, along with Billy Davies and Alan Curbishley, are all in the running according to the bookies.
