Sky TV announcement will bring joy to Xbox One gamers
Sky TV is bringing a native application to the Microsoft console
MICROSOFT has confirmed Sky TV is finally coming to the Xbox One.

Watching Sky TV on a console is nothing new.
The hugely popular satellite television service has been available on Xbox 360 and Sony's PlayStation 4 for years.
But Sky TV has not supported Microsoft's latest console – the Xbox One – and left fans unable to use the next generation video game machine as a multi-room TV box.
However Sky is finally bringing its native Sky TV app to the Xbox One.

Speaking to NewsNewsBlog.blogspot.com, Xbox UK Marketing Director Harvey Eagle: "Sky TV is in development and is coming soon to Xbox One."
Unfortunately Xbox bosses would not reveal an official official launch date for the Sky TV integration, but hinted gamers could expect to see the app "soon".
Microsoft did confirm the launch of the major update – which incorporates many elements of Windows 10 – and will hit the Xbox One next week.
The Windows 10 inspired operating system update is the biggest overhaul to Xbox consoles since the launch, back in 2013.

The OS update includes Windows 10 compatibility, remote gaming on tablets and PCs and the ability to play old Xbox 360 games.
Expect the update to drop on your device on November 12th.

Sky sent out an invite to the announcement which teased "It's time to set your TV free," and included a #SetTVFree social hashtag for the event.
A number of industry sources have told NewsNewsBlog.blogspot.com to expect something big from the digital TV service provider.
Sky is believed to be planning an entirely new product range – its "most significant" in years.

Sky is believed to be preparing an entirely new service for the UK
The television firm is believed to have been working on a new set-top box – dubbed SkyQ – for a few years.
The new hardware will reportedly ship with Netflix-style on-demand video library and will stream live 4K video to rival BT Sport Ultra HD.
On top of that – an overhauled Sky user interface is expected to be able to learn what types of content customers like to watch and then make educated guesses on related content.
SkyQ is rumoured to combine live content, recorded shows and on-demand content in the same place – making jumping between old, new and live content seamless.
