Rio Ferdinand claims Arsenal’s Mesut Ozil reminds him of an 'artist' when he’s on form

RIO FERDINAND has paid Mesut Ozil a huge compliment by likening him to an artist.

 

Ozil was one of the stand-out performers for Arsenal this evening, as they brushed aside Dinamo Zagreb 3-0 in their penultimate Champions League group game.

The German midfield schemer pulled the strings, as the Gunners atoned for their 2-1 defeat against their Croatian opponents in the reverse fixture.

Ozil got on the scoresheet, rounding off a superb move in the 29th minute with a diving header.

 

Ferdinand, who previously played for Manchester United, lavished praise on Ozil.

“He’s someone you love watching play,” Ferdinand told BT Sport.
