Jose Mourinho wants a new striker in January

CHELSEA will consider a quick striker fix in the transfer market in January.

 

The Blues have miss-fired so far this season with Diego Costa struggling to replicate last season's form.

Radamel Falcao has been a disaster and Chelsea will try and cut his loan spell from Monaco short.

And Loic Remy has suffered from injury and lack of form in front of goal.

 

Chelsea have been linked with several strikers and are hopeful of a big signing to ease the strain on the likes of Eden Hazard and Willian.

But moves for the likes of Antoine Griezmann and Harry Kane will be put off until the summer.

However, according to the Telegraph, Michael Emenalo is looking at what could be done in January and has some names to consider.

Jamie Vardy, Saido Berahino and Emmaneul Adebayor are on the list.

 

Vardy, the Premeir League's top scorer, could beat Ruud van Nistelrooy's record for scoring in consecutive Premier League games against Manchester United this weekend.

Berahino was close to a move to Tottenham in the summer but West Brom rejected their approaches.

Berahino rejected a new contract at the Hawthorns but would still cost at least £20million.

Adebayor is a free agent after leaving Spurs in the summer and worked with Jose Mourinho in Madrid.
