MANCHESTER UNITED have revived their interest in Servette striker Lorenzo Gonzalez.
The Red Devils were linked with the 16-year-old in June after their scouts watched him play for the Swiss second division club.
Italian website TuttoMercatoWeb claim United are leading the race but face major competition for Gonzalez's signature.
The report adds that Real Madrid, Roma, AC Milan and Juventus are all following the player's progress.
Gonzalez is said to have similar attributes to Manchester City star Sergio Aguero.
United could be in the market for players in the January transfer window despite a solid start to the season.
A striker could be on their wishlist if they receive bad news about Anthony Martial, who was pictured on crutches after playing for France against England last night.
