Antonio Valencia hurt his foot against Manchester City |
The Ecuadorian hurt himself during the Manchester derby last month, eventually coming off in the 81st minute.
Manager Louis van Gaal said: "He had a kick on his foot in the first half and then I let [Matteo] Darmian warm up on the touchline.
Thank God came out well from the operation. Now think about my recovery.?????????????????????????? pic.twitter.com/CHcvc4SMZc

"But then he played further. However, at the end, he could not continue."
Valencia played no part in United's last four matches and today posted a picture of his left leg wrapped in bandages with the caption: "Thank God came out well from the operation.
"Now think about my recovery."
It is unknown how long the 30-year-old will be out for.
The news will be a blow to Louis van Gaal who is already missing Luke Shaw for most of the season with a double leg fracture.
