Manchester United fans vent their anger at Louis van Gaal after youngster leaves on loan

James Wilson has found opportunities hard to come by at Manchester United

MANCHESTER UNITED fans have reacted with fury after James Wilson joined Brighton on loan until the end of the season.

The 19-year-old striker has struggled to break into the United team this season, making just two appearances.

United were held to their fourth goalless draw in seven matches last night against PSV.

 

While Wayne Rooney and Anthony Martial have found goals hard to come by in recent weeks. 

And in light of United's current goalscoring woes, their supporters have vociferous on Twitter in their unhappiness at Wilson leaving.

One fan called on manager Louis van Gaal to go out on loan instead of Wilson.

While another called the decision "absolute madness".
