Manager target cleared to join Chelsea as ex-Liverpool boss Rodgers set for interim stint
Diego Simeone is reported to be leaving Atletico Madrid at the end of the summer
DIEGO SIMEONE will leave Atletico Madrid at the end of the season and is free to take over at Chelsea, according to reports.

The La Liga giants' boss has already been sounded out by the Blues over the possibility of replacing the under-fire Jose Mourinho at Stamford Bridge.
His contract at the Vicente Calderon runs until 2020 but the Sunday People claim it has break clauses, which he is keen to activate.
Mourinho is after yesterday's 1-0 defeat at Stoke.
While his stadium ban meant he wasn't in the stands to oversee his side, he previously claimed he was still in charge and was solely responsible for running the team.
If Simeone does come in, he could be taking over from Brendan Rodgers as the Blues are considering him as a possible candidate in the interim.
