Man Utd snubbed as Arsenal, Chelsea and Man City stars nominated for UEFA Team of the Year

Alexis Sanchez and Eden Hazard are two of just five Premier League players selected

JUST five players from the Premier League have been nominated for UEFA.com users’ Team of the Year 2015 poll.

 

Only Arsenal’s Alexis Sanchez, Chelsea winger Eden Hazard and Manchester city trio Sergio Aguero, Joe Hart and Kevin de Bruyne make the list of 40 stars from Europe’s top clubs.

 

There is no place for Manchester United’s David de Gea or Liverpool’s Philippe Coutinho.

The nominees were selected for their performances for a European club or national team in 2015.

 

Serie A have six players, La Liga has 15 nominees and the Bundesliga is represented by eight stars.

Players from Paris Saint Germain, Dynamo Kiev and Dnipro make up the rest of the list.

 

Fans have until January 5 to register their vote with the final XI revealed on January 8.
