Man City 2 - Norwich 1: Otamendi and Toure goals sees Sky Blues maintain top spot
Nicolas Otamendi celebrates giving Manchester City the lead at the Etihad
GOALS from Nicolas Otamendi and Yaya Toure either side of a Cameron Jermone strike saw Manchester City maintain top spot in the Premier League at the Etihad.

It was Manuel Pellegrini's men who came out of the blocks quickest as they dictated possession and created a host of chances with Wilfried Bony and Toure wreaking havoc by keeping John Ruddy busy between the sticks.
After 67 minutes of constant pressure City made the breakthrough as Otamendi headed into the top right corner of the net.
Jermone then levelled on 83 minutes after he put his right-footed effort into the bottom right corner past a helpless Joe Hart.

Yaya Toure hammers home his late penalty to secure all three points for City
Russell Martin's sending-off moments later for handball in the box proved costly for the Canaries as Toure converted the penalty on 88 minutes.
City could have then put the game out of sight when Robbie Brady felled Raheem Sterling to gift City another penalty, but Aleksandar Kolarov failed to covert the opportunity.
City stay top as Norwich sit in 16th.
