Liverpool and Chelsea are set to go head to head for the signature of Marseille star Nicolas Nkoulou, according to reports.

Daniel Sturridge may not face Manchester City on Saturday, despite retiring to full training on Tuesday.

Liverpool are interested in signing Lazio midfielder Lucas Biglia, according to reports.
Gazzetta World claim the Reds have reportedly made an enticing offer for the midfielder, who is also on the radar of Real Madrid and Inter Milan.
Biglia will only move to a club where he is guaranteed a starting berth, making Anfield a more likely destination than the Bernabeu or the San Siro.
