Liverpool fans booed Raheem Sterling ‘around the world’ but he can handle it - Joe Hart
Raheem Sterling is expected to start for Manchester City against Liverpool this weekend
RAHEEM STERLING is relaxed about playing his first game against Liverpool since leaving the Anfield club, insists Joe Hart.

Sterling, 20, joined Manchester City in a £49million deal back in the summer.
His exit ended a long-running stand-off with Liverpool bosses who wanted the England ace to sign a new contract.

Sterling rejected the £100,000-a-week offer, much to many fans’ dismay, before forcing through his City switch.
And, as City prepare to host Liverpool in tomorrow’s 5.30pm kick off, goalkeeper Hart insists his team-mate won’t be worried by the reception he gets form the travelling fans.
"He's a very, very laid back guy and a great addition to our squad," Hart told Sky Sports.

"He takes everything in his stride, I'm a big fan of his and will back him all the way. He's the same guy whether he's getting pounded in the press or praised in the press.
"I think the whole thing with Raheem has gone now. He got a few boos in pre-season around the world, Liverpool have got a big fan base, but they have got other things to worry about now.”
City have not lost at home to Liverpool in the league since October 2008 but did go down 2-1 to the Reds at Anfield the last time they clashed.
"It's a big game for us,” Hart added. “It's a team that we've struggled against away from home recently. We've had better form at home.
“Obviously they have a new manager, and I'm sure they have a similar situation with people coming back from international duty and injury. We'll be ready."
