Lewis Hamilton looked dapper at the British Fashion Awards tonight

HE’S known for his sometimes out-there taste in clothes, but Lewis Hamilton toned down his style at the British Fashion Awards tonight.

 

The 30-year-old Formula One star kept things simple in a muted palette of black and white at the annual event, which was held at the London Coliseum.

Lewis looked every bit the dapper gentleman in a white tailored jacket which featured contrasting black lapels.

 

Finishing his pared-down look, the racing driver added a black shirt and tight black trousers.

He finished his look with a pair of polished black boots.

Not one to skimp on accessories, Lewis wore a polka dot pocket square and a pair of diamond earrings.

The budding musician wore his dark locks in a small quiff, and sported perfectly groomed facial hair.

Lewis attended the awards alone this evening, one year after he walked the red carpet with his ex Nicole Scherzinger.

The sportsman has been linked to a number of beauties since his split from the singer in February, but is believed to still be single.

 

Earlier this month, Nicole and Lewis set tongues wagging once more, when they were spotted partying at the same London venue.

According to sources, they were together for hours at celebrity hotspot The Box, and were pictured leaving the club just minutes apart.

An insider explained: "They arrived separately to watch a John Newman performance and sat at different tables but then they were taken to a private room.

They added: "They stayed well after the club shut. Staff were desperate for them to leave."

However, Nicole's spokesperson told NewsNewsBlog.blogspot.com: "It was a coincidence they were both at the same club. Nicole is not back with Lewis."
