LEICESTER slip to second in the Premier League after a 1-1 draw with Manchester United which saw Jamie Vardy enter the record books.
Jamie Vardy struck his 11th consecutive goal on 24 minutes to give Leicester a 1-0 lead, taking former United striker Ruud van Nistelrooy's crown in the process.
But the Red Devils were back level just before half time courtesy of a header from Bastian Schweinsteiger.
Louis van Gaal's side posed the greatest threat in the second half but they failed to find a way through as both sides settled for a point.
The result leaves Leicester and United second and third in the Premier League respectively, while Manchester City claim top spot following their 3-1 win over Southampton.
