Leeds boss Steve Evans: Expect more Premier League signings
Steve Evans believes more signings are on their way to Leeds
STEVE EVANS has hinted that Leeds could make more Premier League signings as the January transfer window approaches.

The Yorkshire-based club completed a deal with Sunderland yesterday for midfielder Liam Bridcutt, who joined on a short-term loan.
However, the former Crawley and Rotherham boss has insisted it will be extended and has suggested more top-flight signings are to be expected.

"He's only here for a short space of time initially but I think it will be extended until the end of the season," he said.
"That has been pretty much agreed by all parties, subject to everybody being happy at the time."

The club confirmed yesterday via Twitter that further contact had been made with Premier League chairmen, and Evans is 'waiting by the phone'.
"The planning for the January window won't just happen on Christmas Eve," he added.

"Things we have tried to do in the last week, 10 days, they will be worked through again in December hopefully ready to run early in January.
"I've been given every encouragement to pick up the phone, identify players and work with Martyn Glover, [head of recruitment]."
