Jurgen Klopp: I think about Liverpool players day and night
Jurgen Klopp says he's always got his Liverpool players on the mind
JURGEN KLOPP has opened up on his relationship with his Liverpool players.

The German has made a steady start to life at Anfield since taking charge in October, losing just one of his eight games in all competitions.
And the former Borussia Dortmund manager says he's constantly thinking of his Liverpool squad, even when he's off the clock.

On his relationship with his players, he said: "The best explanation is what I told the players in our first meeting: I am their friend, but not their best friend.
"I try to understand everything, but of course I cannot understand everything. I can't accept everything they do but that's normal.

"In the morning when I wake up I start thinking about the players, when I dream I'm thinking about the players, in the evening I think about the players - that's normal.
He added: "In the good times it's easy to have a good relationship to the manager. When they're in the starting line up maybe I'm something like their friend.
"But not when they're not in the starting line up…"
