JOSE MOURINHO has reportedly got just two more games to save his Chelsea job after they 3-1 to Liverpool.
The Premier League champions have had an awful start to the season, and it was compounded by the defeat to Jurgen Klopp's team.
After the match, Mourinho was defiant mood staying his job was safe despite the increasing speculation.
He said: "I have no doubts.
"If you saw some individual performances below a normal level, there were not many. I would say there were, a maximum, a couple.
"Even these ones, they suffered because they are not able to do more. The team is together."
But according to ESPN FC, he has two games to convince owner Roman Abramovich not to sack him.
Chelsea's next two matches are against Dynamo Kiev in the Champions League on Wednesday and Stoke next Saturday.
And the report also adds that former manager Carlo Ancelotti would be interested in taking over.
Ancelotti was dismissed by Abramovich in 2011 despite winning the double the previous.
He was understood to have reservations about taking over but the Italian has told his representatives he would return to Stamford Bridge even if the job was offered until the end of the season.
