Arsene Wenger is unhappy with the number of injuries his team has suffered |
ARSENE WENGER has expressed his concern over Arsenal's mounting injury problems.
On Wednesday, the Gunners were without 10 first-team regulars against Bayern Munich.
Laurent Koscielny, Hector Bellerin (groin), Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain (hamstring), Theo Walcott (calf), Mikel Arteta (ankle/foot), Aaron Ramsey (hamstring), David Ospina (shoulder), Jack Wilshere (ankle), Tomas Rosicky (knee) and Danny Welbeck (knee) all missed the match.
Koscielny, Arteta and Ospina could return for Sunday's north London derby against Spurs.
But Wenger is unhappy at the injury crisis engulfing his club
"I’m very concerned," he said.
"Because we are only in November and we have so many players out.
"We go into the Christmas period and I am concerned.
"Because we have too many players out. I give Koscielny 80 per cent. He will have a test tomorrow."
