International star: Some Chelsea stars do not like Jose Mourinho's public criticism

Jose Mourinho's public blasts have come under scrutiny

FORMER Chelsea defender Filipe Luis has questioned Jose Mourinho's decision to publicly criticise his players.

 

The Blues have made a poor start to the 2015/16 campaign and Mourinho has caused a number of headlines with his outbursts.

John Terry, Eden Hazard and Nemanja Matic have all been singled out for criticism and been dropped from the team at various points.

 

Luis left Stamford Bridge in the summer and returned to Atletico Madrid after just one season. 

And the Brazilian left-back believes Mourinho's comments can be damaging to players.

 

He told Yahoo Sports: "He [Mourinho] has his way of talking to the press, especially when the team loses, which can sometimes be damaging to certain players. 

"Some players benefit from criticism but for others they don’t."
