JAMIE VARDY can this weekend break Ruud van Nistelrooy's 12-year record of scoring in successive Premier League games.
Vardy, 28, has bagged 10 goals in 10 to fire Leicester to the top of the Premier League.
His side host Van Nistelrooy's former club Manchester United tomorrow (5.30pm) in a battle for top spot in the table.
And stats provided by @ArenaOneUK show that Vardy's goalscoring record rivals the Dutchman's.
In the 2003/03 season, when Van Nistelrooy broke the record, he scored 25 goals in 34 appearances.
Vardy already averages a goal a game this term.
Foxes ace Vardy also averages 4.15 shots per game this campaign, compared to Van Nistelrooy's 2.6.
But possibly the most enticing outcome for Leicester fans is that United were fifth when Van Nistelrooy broke the record and finished the season as champions.
Can Claudio Ranieri's league leaders hold on for the season?
They're still out at 100/1 with some bookies, while United are are 3/1, but those odds could tumble should Vardy inspire victory at the King Power Stadium tomorrow.
