GTA 5 update reveals new DLC success as Rockstar unveil the cream of the millionaire crop
A GTA 5 update from Take Two shows the impact of Online DLC content
GTA 5's update has produced some new millionaires, while the game's online mode continues to pay big time with new DLC from Rockstar and Take-Two.

Updated earnings results for the quarter ending September 30 from Rockstar Games' parent company Take-Two Interactive have been revealed, showing strong growth in microtransaction sales for GTA Online.
The largest contributors to net revenue in the fiscal second quarter 2016 were NBA 2K16, Grand Theft Auto 5 and Grand Theft Auto Online, NBA 2K15, and Borderlands: The Handsome Collection.
And the decision for the Rockstar team to continue focusing on DLC content production for GTA Online looks sound, with revenue from recurrent consumer spending - including virtual currency, downloadable add-on content and online games over multiple titles - growing 39% year-over-year and accounted for 51% of net revenue from digitally-delivered content.
Digitally-delivered revenue stood at $141 million, according to Take Two, with the largest contributors listed as Grand Theft Auto, NBA 2K, Borderlands and the WWE 2K series.

Rockstar and Take Two, meanwhile, continue to see a dedicated fanbase exploring the game's multiplayer experience, with GTA Online boasting 8 million players per week.
Strauss Zelnick, Chairman and CEO of Take-Two commented on the impact of the company's biggest games, adding: “Our second quarter results were anchored by the series record-breaking launch of NBA 2K16, along with ongoing demand for Grand Theft Auto V and strong growth in recurrent consumer spending.
Rockstar also revealed who was set to become in-game millionaires via GTA 5's Lowriders and Halloween Snapmatic Contests.
