Alex Neil knows his side must start producing results |
The Swans have dropped like a stone and will be targeted at Carrow Road.
Monk has demanded full focus from his players and said: "Our first job is to make sure we do not give away any soft goals.
"We have to be solid in crucial periods of the game and then deliver a high performance level with the ball when the game opens up.
"If someone sticks the ball in the top corner from 30 yards, then that is fair enough. But we cannot give anything soft away. We have addressed it with the players this week and they have that accountability.
"The mistakes are not intentional but we are getting punished very heavily for them at the moment.'
Norwich have fared little better in the last month and host the Welsh club on the back of a six game winless streak. Alex Neil knows that grim statistic has to be addressed.
"Playing philosophy and how you want to go about it is all fine and well, but winning games is the most important thing," said the Norwich manager.
"It is about making sure we get those points on the board and we need to find a way of doing that."
