FENERBAHCE have insisted Robin van Persie is not for sale despite reports linking the striker with a return to the Netherlands.
The former Arsenal and Manchester United striker has struggled to settle in Turkey since leaving Old Trafford in the summer.
The Dutchman, who openly admitted he is not happy with his role at his new club, has been linked to be a return to the Netherlands with his first club Feyenoord.
However Fenerbahce have released a statement to deny the reports and claim neither Van Persie or the club has any intention of cutting his stay in the Super Lig short.
"In the last few days there have been many transfer rumours about Robin van Persie in the media," a statement on the club's official website reads. "But these are against our player's wishes.
"We don't have any plans to sell [Van Persie] and he wants to stay with us too. He is a valuable player in our squad and he is going to play for us."
