Sheyi Ojo is determined to impress Jurgen Klopp |
YOUNG England under-19 winger Sheyi Ojo is determined to replicate the exploits of Jordon Ibe and work with new Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp.
Ojo is on a season-long loan at Wolves and has made a steady start, scoring scoring three goals in 16 appearances.
The 18-year-old is yet to make an appearance for Liverpool but is aiming to use Ibe as an inspiration.
Ibe went on loan to Derby at the start of last season but was recalled in January and has since become a permanent fixture in the Liverpool squad.
Ojo told Liverpool's official website: ”He [Ibe] went out on loan last season and then got recalled back so it goes to show that if you do well on loan you get the chance to be called back and go straight into the first team.
“That's my main aim, to keep doing well and to get the call back, I just need to impress the manager.
“I am learning now at Wolves and getting more experience but the main aim is to come back and impress the manager, and hopefully I can start playing for Liverpool on a regular basis.”
