Didier Drogba has given Jose Mourinho his full backing

DIDIER DROGBA has given his full backing to under-pressure Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho.

 

The Blues are currently having a terrible season, sitting in 15th place in the league after a string of poor results.

The defending champions have lost six of their last 10 Premier League games leading to whispers that he could get the sack.

 

However, Drogba has given his former boss his full backing, insisting he is 'still the right man' for the job.

"If the club has kept him that means owner Roman Abramovich thinks that he is the right man," he told BBC Africa.

"I think the players trust him and he is giving his best to change the situation."

And things are slowly picking up for the Blues, with back-to-back wins against Norwich and Maccabi Tel Aviv.

"They have quality when it comes to the players, and quality when it comes to the management," Drogba added.

"This is a club which usually doesn't have a bad season twice."
