CHELSEA could make a January move for former Blackburn striker Nikola Kalinic, according to reports in Italy.
The Fiorentina star has hit 10 goals in nine Serie A matches so far this season.
And Jose Mourinho is desperate to improve his attacking options after a disappointing title defence.
Diego Costa is yet to replicate the form of his early Stamford Bridge days, while Radamel Falcao and Loic Remy have struggled.
Italian publication Gazzetta dello Sport report Kalinic is on Chelsea's radar.
He would be eligible for the Champions League, having not played in it this season with the Italian club.
The Blues have also been linked with a January move for one of Jamie Vardy, Saido Berahino and Emmanuel Adebayor.
