Chelsea 1 - Liverpool 3: Jose Mourinho facing the sack after Jurgen Klopp's men stun Blues
JOSE MOURINHO is facing the sack after suffering a Halloween nightmare at Stamford Bridge.

Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich could dispense with Mourinho following Chelsea's defeat to Liverpool.

Two goals from Philippe Coutinho and a late strike from substitute Christian Benteke have put Mourinho on the brink.

Before the game the Blues boss insisted he did not fear being sacked if Chelsea lost to Jurgen Klopp's side.

But the nature of his team's display could force Abramovich's hand.

Leading bookmakers Ladbrokes have even suspended the betting on Mourinho being sacked following the loss.

Carlo Ancelotti is the favourite to replace the Portuguese tactician - who has himself been linked with a return to Real Madrid.

Such a situation looked unlikely when Chelsea started well against Liverpool, taking an early lead through Ramires after just four minutes.

But the Blues didn't have another shot at goal in a first half that ended with a stunning equaliser from Coutinho.

Chelsea seemed to get worse in the second half as Liverpool improved, taking the lead again through the lively Coutinho who struck an effort that deflected in off John Terry.

And with less than 10 minutes to go Benteke made sure it was a Halloween to forget for Chelsea and Mourinho - who could lose his job in the coming days.
