TREYARCH are showing that they aren't messing around when it comes to their latest Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 warning for Xbox One, PS4 and PC players.
Having recently revealed what issues will get you suspended and then banned, the studio are now acting on some of the created emblems or paintjobs that are considered to be generally offensive.
Users have reported being permanently banned from using editor features, while others have hit the Black Ops 3 forums to report the use of offensive designs that have been spotted and flagged.
A post from Treyarch confirms what designs fall into this category, via the Black Ops 3 Security & Enforcement policy.
"Offensive content includes, but is not limited to, sexually gratuitous images, culturally offensive material, and/or foul language.Any user who creates an emblem or paintjob with personal and/or private information for either themselves or other persons is subject to penalty," The Treyarch post reads.
"Personal/Private information includes, but is not limited to, email addresses, phone numbers, physical addresses, and full names."
- Temporary Suspensions – Can range from 48 hours to two weeks or longer, depending on the severity of the infraction. Permanent suspensions are lasting and final.
- Minor Offense – One in which no quantifiable damage has been done to another user or the game community at large.
- Extreme Offense – One in which a player has caused detriment to other users or has organized large groups of users to commit additional offenses.
