Belgium's match with Spain has been cancelled due to security fears
BELGIUM’S friendly with Spain has been called off amid security concerns in the wake of the Paris terrorist attacks.

The deadly attacks last Friday claimed the lives of 129 people.
France hosted Germany in a friendly that night and the Stade de France was targeted by the terrorists.

French prosecutors have identified a Belgian as the perpetrator behind the attacks.
And after consulting their Spanish counterparts, the Belgian FA have decided to call off tonight’s game (7:45pm).

A statement from the Belgian Football Association read: “Taking into account the exceptional circumstances, we cannot take any security risk to our players and fans.”
The Belgium team’s official Twitter account confirmed the news with a tweet that read: “Our match against Spain has been cancelled."
