Baywatch babe Alexandra Daddario is bikini ready for new film with Zac Efron & The Rock
Hm, we wonder why they cast Alexandra Daddario in Baywatch?
ALEXANDRA DADDARIO will star in new Baywatch film opposite Zac Efron and Dwayne Johnson. We simply can't imagine why she got the part of a bikini-clad lifeguard...

The raven-haired beauty will play a new lifeguard, perkily called Summer, in the big screen blockbuster.
Daddario has already shown that she has the ample assets for the scantily-clad role with a shocking sex scene in the hit TV show True Detective.

The actress stripped totally naked to seduce Woody Harrelson's married cop in the hard-hitting and award-winning first series of the HBO drama.
It's not the first time that the uninhibited 29-year-old has flaunted her body on the big or small screen.

Baywatch will see her reunited with her San Andreas co-star Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson.
In the big-budget disaster movie she played his feisty daughter Blake and spent an inordinate amount of time running around in a small vest and swimming through submerged buldings.
All of which should come in handy in her new project.
And if you are a little queasy that she might be playing a love interest for her former on-screen dad, fear not – Daddario's Summer is being lined up for some sandy shennanigans with Zac Efron.

Zac Efron and David Hasselhoff
Efron will play a “young rule-flouting hothead” in the big screen adaptation of the 1980s show, made famous by David Hasselhoff and his bikini-clad beauties.
Dwayne Johnson will play the sober and serious chief lifeguard who disapproves of his new recruit in the new film. Unsurprisingly, the pair are forced to work together when a reckless evil oil tycoon causes an environmental catastrophe that threatens their beach.
Efron, himself, is no stranger to flaunting his body after recent topless turns in That Awkward Moment and Neighbours.
His new film Dirty Grandpa has already caused an internet sensation with pictures of Zac Efron naked on a beach and flexing his muscles with an impressively toned Robert De Niro.

Daddario first found big screen fame in the wholesome 2010 family film Percy Jackson and the Lightening Thief opposite Logan Lerman.
A 2013 sequel, Percy Jackson: Sea of Monsters, continued the fun but didn't set the box office alight.
An appearance in 2013's Texas Chainsaw 3D added scream queen to the actress' resumee. But it was her role in San Andreas that marked her out as a budding action star.
Daddario more than held her own against all the testosterone flying around.
While the Rock was busy in helicopters and speed boats, she got down and dirty on the ground and underwater, often saving the hopeless men around her from death and disaster.

Daddario will join a list famous female pin-ups when Baywatch hits cinemas, although no release date has been announced, as yet.
The original TV show ran from 1989 to 2001 and its legendary opening credits were a notable source of illicit entertainment for young men around the world.
Regarded as kitch and humorous now, the scenes of scantily-clad bathing beauties running in slow motion towards the camera were titillating at the time.
Daddario will follow in the footsteps of bathing beauties like Yasmin Bleeth and Carmen Electra.
Unfortunately, the most famous of them all is not impressed at the idea of a big screen adaptation.

Pamela Anderson declared that a new Baywatch movie would be a bad idea.
'No-one appreciates the remakes,' the 48-year-old actress told TMZ, when asked about the upcoming film from director Seth Gordon.
Anderson who starred as C.J. Parker on the original Baywatch show, reckons that it was a 'simpler, sweeter time' that would not translate well onto the modern-day big screen.
Luckily, the new team have no intention of apeing the past.
Director Seth Gordon is responsible for raucous adult comedies Horrible Bosses and Identity Thief, so the new film is expected to be a lot ruder than its rather tame TV source material.
After seeing Daddario in True Detective, we're sure that she's more than ready for it...
