Arsene Wenger reveals two Arsenal doubts for Norwich clash but expects £35m man to start

Alexis Sanchez and Joel Campbell both picked up knocks in midweek

ARSENE WENGER has admitted Alexis Sanchez and Joel Campbell are doubts for Arsenal's clash with Norwich.

 

Sanchez (hamstring) and Campbell (calf) both picked up knocks in Tuesday's 3-0 win over Dinamo Zagreb in the Champions League.

The wingers are expected to undergo late fitness tests ahead of Sunday's trip to Carrow Road.

 

Wenger will have fit-again duo Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain and Aaron Ramsey back in contention, but the Arsenal boss says it's not the right time to rest Sanchez.

When asked if Sanchez is available to face Norwich, the Frenchman said: "I will have to assess that a bit later.

"Spontaneously it might not be the best moment to rest Alexis but I don’t know. He had a little hamstring alarm but we will see how he recovers from that.

Wenger added: "Campbell had a little calf problem so I will assess all that Friday, latest Saturday."
