ALEXIS SANCHEZ has agreed a deal in principle over a new long-term contract, according to reports.
The 27-year-old forward has been in explosive form for the Gunners, scoring six goals in his last six Premier League outings.
Sanchez has become a fan’s favourite ever since he joined from Barcelona in 2014 for £33m.
The Daily Mirror claim Sanchez is on the verge of signing a new contract that will see him stay at the Emirates until 2020.
They suggest the deal will see his wages rise from £130,000-to £150,000-a-week which would put him in the top bracket of earners.

The contract is also expected to contain other performance-related incentives.
It is also thought Mesut Ozil will follow suit and see his wages increase to the same level.
