LAURENT KOSCIELNY has named Luis Suarez and Didier Drogba as the toughest opponents he has ever faced.

Suarez was a constant menace during his time at Liverpool before he sealed a £75million switch to Barcelona in the summer of 2014.

Drogba meanwhile attained legendary status during his successful spells at Stamford Bridge and was renowned for harrying defenders.

And Arsenal centre half Koscielny, who has had to contend with facing the Premier League's deadliest strikers week in week out, is in no doubt as to who gave him the runaround.

“Yes, he was one of the best, like Sergio Aguero or Didier Drogba,” Koscielny told the club’s official website.

“The good thing about the Premier League is that you have so many different strikers.

“Every weekend, you have to excel in a different department to play against them. After every match, I have a look at my performance, the stats and see what I have done well.”
