Wayne and Coleen Rooney spent £150k on kitchen but can only cook beans and toast
The couple first met in Liverpool when they were just 12

HE MAY have recently become England's highest ever goal scorer, but it looks like Wayne Rooney's creative skills do not extend to the kitchen.

The 29-year-old Manchester United captain has revealed, despite splashing out £150,000 on a lavish kitchen, he and wife Coleen are yet to get their money's worth.
In a new documentary, Rooney: The Man Behind The Goals, Wayne confessed the most adventurous thing he can cook is beans on toast.

And while Coleen loves a Sunday roast, it's her mum Colette McLoughlin who makes it.
"Either my mum will do it or we go out. I don't cook it," she said.

Wayne and Coleen live in Cheshire with their sons Kai and Klay
According to The Sun, the couple spent £145,533 on a state of the art Clive Christian kitchen for their Cheshire home who they share with sons Kai, five, and Klay, two.
The documentary will provide fans with a rare insight into the family's £300,000 a week life.
The footballing ace will also open up about his relationship with Coleen, who he met in the working-class suburb of Croxteth, Liverpool.
The childhood sweethearts first met at the age of 12, when Wayne would practice his now-renowned football skills with Coleen's brothers by the garages behind her house.

"He is shy until he gets to know you – and then he just doesn’t shut up. He used to shout things like: 'Give us a date.' In the end, he got his way and we went to the pictures," Coleen revealed.
But it turns out that Coleen rules the roost at home as the Manchester United player divulged that she can be bossy as she keeps him and their boys.
"Outside of football, she is the strong one," Wayne said. "She is the boss, yeah. She makes all the big decisions and she is a great mum and great for me and the children."
Rooney: The Man Behind The Goals in on BBC One tonight at 9pm.
