Team News: Giroud leads the line for Arsenal as Lennon and Deulofeu start for Everton

Arsenal could go top of the league with victory over Everton

ARSENAL start with Olivier Giroud up top as Everton hand starts to Aaron Lennon and Gerard Deulofeu.

 

Aaron Ramsey is out for at least three weeks after injuring his hamstring against Bayern Munich on Tuesday.

David Ospina and Mikel Arteta are also sidelined with respective shoulder and ankle injuries.

Long-term absentees Jack Wilshere, Tomas Rosicky and Danny Welbeck are unlikely to return before the new year.

Everton will take a look at Tom Cleverley, who has begun his return following an ankle problem after playing for the development side.

 

Steven Pienaar also returned from injury in that match, but the Toffees are unlikely to rush the recovery of the midfielder, who has not started a game since December 2014.
