Taylor has been out-earning all her biggest music rivals this year
COUNTRY singer Taylor Swift has become the highest-earning music star in the world after racking up more than a million dollars every day so far this year.
The 25-year-old’s income after her hit album 1989 and current world tour, plus endorsements for brands such as Diet Coke and Elizabeth Arden, amounts to $317.8million – the equivalent of about £205million – since January.
Her phenomenal wealth is further boosted by massive investments in three fast-growing companies that mainly handle music management and touring.
Right now, Taylor is untouchable
Media analyst Mike Raia
LA-based media analyst Mike Raia said yesterday: “Right now, Taylor is untouchable. “She is so far ahead of everyone else in the industry that she has become not only a powerhouse entertainer but also an important mover and shaker on the commercial side of the music business.” US financial experts who examined her portfolio said it was “inconceivable” she will not end the year with more than $365million – about £236million – to keep up her million-a-day average.

Forbes magazine claims she could become a full-blown billionaire well before her 30th birthday
Forbes magazine has claimed she could hit full-blown billionaire status well before her 30th birthday and ultimately become one of the world’s wealthiest women. Her financial success away from music is largely credited to her father Scott, a wealth management adviser, and mother Andrea, a former mutual fund executive.
