NEWCASTLE are looking into the possibility of re-signing Arsenal defender Mathieu Debuchy in January.
That is according to the Daily Star, who claim Ligue 1 giants Paris Saint-Germain and Monaco are also keeping tabs on the right-back.
Debuchy only arrived at the Emirates from St James' Park last year, but has fallen down the pecking order following a series of injuries last term.
The 31-year-old has featured just three times for the Gunner this term, with Arsene Wenger currently favouring Hector Bellerin at right-back.
And Newcastle, who sold him for £12million, want to bring him back to the north east as they sit rockbottom of the Premier League standings.
Debuchy recently admitted that he would be open to leaving Arsenal to boost his chances of making France's Euro 2016 squad.
"In the long-term, if this situation continues it could become tricky," he told the Telegraph.
"He [Wenger] knows I'm worried though because there's an important deadline at the end of the season.
"It's a must to hold down a first team place. It's clear. To be effective on the field you need game time."
